KJ and Dan struggle to communicate. Years into a strained relationship, a couple head to a friend’s cabin for the weekend to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a glue trap. They disagree on what to do, with KJ advocating for a quick death while Dan suggests making the mouse’s final moments as pleasant as possible. The couple compromises and moves on, slowly coming back to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is shattered by the arrival of a small woman who can only be charitably described as “eccentric” – she’s the younger sister of their landlord, and had no idea anyone was staying at the family cabin. No problem if it collapses, right? As the couple tries to juggle this distraction, adding to their already tense dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this annoying third wheel could threaten more than just their relationship…
