Story
Growing up in the Amazon rainforest has given Autumn the rarest of friendships: a lost jaguar cub she finds named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind for the unknown of New York City, she dreams of returning to the rainforest and her friend years from now. Autumn, 14 and accustomed to city life, discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal smugglers and decides she must return to the Amazon and her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards), Autumn’s lovable but awkward biology teacher, tries unsuccessfully to talk him out of this reckless plan. Together with Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to reunite Hope and save her from those who are trying to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
