Avril, a young lawyer specializing in animal protection, works hard to save her client, a dog that repeatedly commits crimes, from the death penalty. The dog helps Avril accept her own human complexity. During development, Laetitia Dosch met Justine Triet, who told her that she was making Anatomija pada (2023), a film about a trial involving a dog and a visually impaired person, with a female lead. . The similarities largely led Dosch to abandon the project.
