Story
The world’s most famous superhero and comics’ most famous journalist navigate the pressures and complexities of balancing work, law, and parenthood in today’s society. The pilot pays homage to “Action Comics” #1 (Superman’s debut) by depicting the hero’s original Golden Age costume for the first time in live action. The famous green car from the cover is also featured. Superman flies past the WB logo and transforms it into the DC Comics logo. Both logos are red and blue and are set on a Kent farm. .

I’m bummed they ended this show! It was such a fun ride! I loved how it explored so much of what made Clark, Clark! Obviously not as well as they did on Smallville, but that show started when Clark was a teenager and this one with him already a father. Tyler Hoechlin did an amazing job playing Superman! His acting was strong throughout the series and I felt connected to the character.
He did a great job!
I admired the way he acted with his family and I got into it. 🙂 Now, this show has had its problems, yes. When all this happened it’s a bit confusing for people who know the characters and new fans alike, I’d say. I mean, who has Superman fought at this point? He’s Superman, it’s already been established, but we don’t know when that will happen. The supporting cast is also strong, I think.

I enjoyed watching Clark’s family grow and mature throughout the series. Hahaha, if I did I would have gotten slapped once or twice. 😛 Anyway – it’s a show set in a new era, obviously there’s going to be some weird stuff. The villains in this one aren’t very funny, in my opinion. I enjoyed some of their arcs, but for the most part it wasn’t my thing. That’s okay, I was there to see Superman be Superman.

🙂 I’m glad I watched it, but I felt like the show could have lasted another season or two. That’s my only complaint about it. :P.
